1. Unofficial platform

Lau4Seoi2Saan1Sing4 (流水山城) is an unofficial, student-run roommate matching platform. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) or any of its colleges.

2. Eligibility

You must be a currently enrolled CUHK student with a valid@link.cuhk.edu.hk email address and a confirmed hostel placement. Accounts may be suspended without notice if eligibility cannot be verified.

3. Acceptable use

Be kind. Do not harass, impersonate, threaten, or share content that is hateful, sexual, or illegal. Do not solicit money, share other students' personal information without consent, or use the platform for commercial purposes.

4. User content

You retain ownership of the photos, text, and answers you post. By posting, you grant us a limited licence to display that content to other verified users within the same hostel and gender pool for the purpose of matching.

5. Moderation

We reserve the right to remove content, suspend, or delete accounts that violate these terms or that we believe pose a risk to the community.

6. No warranty

The platform is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee matches, response times, or the accuracy of any information shown.

7. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the maintainers are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the platform.

8. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
